Who we help
We work with public, private, and not-for-profit clients to restore and regenerate life-supporting ecological processes and create a world of abundant biodiversity, climate resilience, justice, and clean water.
Public
We help agencies and institutions at all levels of government serve constituents by protecting natural resources that strengthen community resilience and improve quality of life. Whether you represent municipal, state, tribal, regional, or federal government, we can help you.
The wildlife has overwhelmingly responded to this new wetlands system.

Bergen County Parks Land Management Division Director
Private
We help forward-thinking, private landholders achieve their goals while enhancing local ecology, conserving resources, and integrating the built and natural environment. We also help allied designers who are pursuing high performance project certifications such as Living Building Challenge, LEED, and SITES.
Biohabitats was instrumental in making our zero water waste goal a reality on our first Living Building project. We depend upon their no-nonsense and creative approach to help us make tough decisions as they relate to prioritizing water strategies — getting the biggest benefit from what is often a limited pool of resources.

Not-for-profit
We help advance the missions of community and environmental not-for-profit organizations of all sizes. From grant procurement, to community engagement to project execution, we work side-by-side with those at the forefront of positive change.
The staff has been LOVING the improvements to our wetlands! The educational value of this resource has increased exponentially. Every one of our programs utilizes it, and our visitors, hikers, and bird-watchers are enjoying the greater diversity of plants and animals.
